BroadVision has reported financial results for its second quarter ended June 30, 2007. Revenues for the second quarter were $13.3 million, compared with revenues of $12.7 million for the first quarter ended March 31, 2007 and $12.7 million for the comparable quarter of 2006. Key Appointments for Asia Pacific
BroadVision has announced the following key appointments for its Asia Pacific operations:
- Dr. Robert Wang, Chief Operating Officer & General Manger for BroadVision on Demand (BVOD). Formerly the Company’s CIO, Dr. Wang has been with BroadVision since 2004. He holds a Ph.D. in EECS from the University of California at Berkeley.
- Dr. James Wu, Chief Technology Officer for BVOD and General Manager for K2L. Formerly an Engineering VP, Dr. Wu has been with BroadVision since 1999. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from State University of New York at Stony Brook.
- Mr. Ling Wu, General Manager, Asia Pacific, who is responsible for operations in Taiwan and Korea. Mr. Wu has been with the company since 1999, most recently as Engineering Director for the company’s e-commerce product line. He holds an M.S. degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.
- Other key regional executives are Mr. Masafumi Akita, VP for BroadVision Japan KK, and Mr. Biplove Belwal, Country Manager for BroadVision India.
